Transcript for "The power of Workday Student, overview and product showcase": Good Morning, everyone. I've got a couple of product, showcase slides that I wanted to take the room through before I move into today's demonstration. We've got about forty minutes, so this will really be the highlights reel of the Workday student product. I wanted to also introduce the student solution consulting team here at Workday Elevate today. So if we haven't met before, my name is Linda Lam. You may have seen me in the HCM side of, the Workday product. I started my Workday journey about three years ago focusing on HCM supporting higher education, and now really excited to be part of the Workday student family now that we're bringing Workday student to ANZ. And I also have the lovely Diane Snow in the back corner. She is all the way from The US, also, supporting Workday student, and she lives and breathes Workday student every single day. We will be on the student and payroll booths, in between sessions if you wanna see more of the Workday student product, and answer any questions that you may have from a product perspective. I'll just quickly go over this. This is really a summary of what Kate and Kate had talked to. Workday is that single platform bringing together your people, money, and your student data. We also have our core technology differentiators that you may be familiar with if you are an existing Workday customer. A couple I wanted to highlight was our business process framework. So Workday delivers over 600 business processes out of the box across the entire platform. This allows you to get up and running, with Workday a lot quicker. And as Kate mentioned, you've got that single solution, so you can definitely share, how you're doing things with, other institutions as well. Of course, this wouldn't be a tech talk if I didn't talk about AI. So, Workday Illuminate is also our AI framework that is built in to the platform, and we'll see some of that capability as part of today's demonstration. We also have our user experience, and Workday has been really intentional in building out that experience. Kate talked to the fact that a lot of the students today, they were really born in to that generation where TikTok is where they get their information, right, their news, and all of that. And we wanted the Workday experience to be, similar to that. So, the experience is available on the mobile, the desktop, as well as the, iPad and tablet. And, of course, we know that Workday needs to fit into your broader technology stack, so we have Workday extend as well as integration capability as well. Just a couple of housekeeping items. For today's demonstration, I'll be using a demo tenant. It has everything switched on, and so this will obviously be configured to your institutional requirements. And to bring this demonstration to life today, I'll be leveraging two different personas. We'll take a look at Shanti, which I've now been calling Shante with influence from Diane. It'll really be all about that student self-service experience. We'll take a look at academic planning and progress, and then I'll show you a little bit about, Brian's experience as well. So Brian is a director of enrollment services at Alameda University, but he's also a team leader. He's a manager. He's got different hats that he needs to put on. So we'll take a look at that consolidated HCM student and finance experience and how we can leverage, real time insights within Workday to actually make informed, business decisions for the institution. Alright. With that in mind, I'm hoping this switch over oh, amazing. It's working seamlessly. Always a bit nervous about, you know, live demonstrations. Alright. So, coming into Workday, what we're seeing here on the screen, Ashante, is Workday home page. Some of you may be familiar with this capability being existing Workday customers. For some of you, this might be a little new. So I will just take you through a couple of navigational items. You've got access to your Workday menu provided as security is switched on here. Shante is a student as well as a worker, so she's got capability that exists within the HCM space such as learning, the ability to submit time, alongside her student capabilities, such as the academics hub and financials hub that we'll see a little bit later. You've got your search functionality, which allows you to search across all of Workday for people, tasks, reports, and articles, her Workday assistant, notifications, as well as her my tasks. As a student, Shante wants to come into Workday, get in and out, do everything that she needs really seamlessly, and she can easily do that. Coming into her awaited actions, she can see items that require action from her as a end user as well as a journey that will come into a little bit later. You may also notice the announcements feature. So announcements allow you to push out communications not only to your students, but also to your staff. So they don't need to access an intranet or go to an email. It's all supported leveraging push notifications so you can get that information in your pocket pretty much as soon as that's pushed out. We also have AI capability leveraging machine learning, surfacing up her quick tasks. So these are tasks that Shante uses in Workday really frequently and her top apps allowing her to jump back into where she left, Workday. You'll also notice her timely suggestions. So these are time sensitive cards that lets Chantay know that she's got a registration or enrollment appointment, which is open at the moment, as well as some money that she needs to pay to AMU. Coming back into our journeys, Kate mentioned with you a little bit more around, the impact that journeys has made, at the University of Arkansas. But journeys within Workday allow you to create curated content for the moments that matter. And this can be the student experience, so preparing for registration, if there's any articles that I need to review ahead of time, watch any video content, actually complete tasks within Workday, so resolving any holds that may be on my account, alongside pulling in content that may sit outside of Workday and drip feeding that to the end user to provide that seamless experience. Ahead of her registration, she's gonna go ahead and meet with her academic adviser. And you'll see here within Journeys that we're not only just communicating to the student, we're also pushing them out to the task. So it's really easy for them to jump into Workday and see what they need to do. Here, Shanti can go ahead and select the topic that she wants to talk about. Of course, this is entirely configurable, so you can build this out, for your institution. We can go ahead and select the time and date that we're available and go ahead and search for individuals such as doctor Audrey Hodges who will be available to tend to our needs. And you'll notice here I'm coming in and leaning on the HCM component of Workday. So we're able to get, doctor Audrey Hodges' contact information really easily within Workday. And if you are leveraging Workday scheduling, we can also use the schedule of the academic to push out when, Audrey will be available alongside integration with Outlook as well. So leveraging their existing calendars, to populate available appointment times. Once I'm ready, I can go ahead and click submit. And if you're not familiar with Workday's business processes, it's not just a workflow engine. I like to call it out workflow tool on steroids. So it can push out to downstream system integrations, push out to do task questionnaires, to do items, as well as notifications. And what we're doing here is asking Shante ahead of her conversation with her academic adviser in getting that key information ahead of the conversation. So it's our first time meeting with doctor Audrey Hodges. Are there any challenges that we're currently facing, any extracurricular activities that we're currently doing, and also getting that information all before we have that meeting with doctor Audrey. Now that we've gone ahead and built in some time for the academic appointment, Shante is gonna come into her student profile. And if you have HCM, you'll be very familiar with the worker profile. This is very similar capability. It's a three sixty degree view of the student. Shanti can come in and see all of her student information. She's currently a third year based in main campus studying the bachelor of economics. She also has visibility of her academic progress, leveraging, those visual indicators that we can see. And one of the key differentiators about Workday is that unified record that Kate and Kate spoke to. So Shante being a worker, she has access to her worker profile alongside her student profile as well. Student self-service is built into the platform, and as Shante, she can come in and make changes to her preferred name. She's been switching between Shante j and Shante, these last couple semesters. Not quite sure, which name she prefers, but coming in, she can go ahead and submit that. And you'll notice that with Workday's always on audit, we can see that update date and time stamped with any transactions of who did what when. If I come into my active holds, there's currently a hold on Shante's account, and this is letting her know that she has a returning student checklist that she needs to complete. What this means is supporting your students. Perhaps at the beginning of every year, you may have some tasks that you may ask your students to do. So before she can actually enroll in courses, she needs to go ahead and come into her tasks and close out those items. Again, the work flow for this is entirely configurable, so you can build this out to whatever that looks like for your institution. In the my tasks area, we can see all of the items here, very similar capability to Outlook. So you've got your filter functionality, your saved searches, and the ability to search across the entire inbox. Chante can come in and review her contact information. She can go ahead and review the personal information, so making sure that we have her most up to date contact details for any communications that might go out to her. She can go ahead and review any academic policy documents or code of conduct documentation. Again, will be date and time stamped with when she's reviewed it. And then also thinking about nurturing students through their student journey. Right? How do we be more proactive around understanding what are the challenges that students are facing today, and we can leverage a returning student questionnaire to capture this information. She is actually doing swimmingly, so she doesn't need any support in this space. So we can go ahead and close out that questionnaire. But we can see that we've got all of those tasks delivered directly to Shante in her inbox, and she doesn't need to go to a separate system, come into her email to complete all of those self-service capabilities. It's all delivered to her in her my tasks. Now that we've gone ahead and cleared out those items, we're going to come into the financials hub and make a payment. So in her financials hub, this is where she has visibility of all of her student payments and charges. We can see she's got a payment which is currently due now alongside a list of all her most recent payments. Leveraging student self-service capability, she can also trigger her own, statements, and we can generate that via PDF. I'm gonna generate that in the background while I go ahead and make that financial payment. Coming into Workday, we can go ahead and select the payment description. And because we're providing quite a significant amount of money, to the university, we're coming in and confirming that's the activity that we wanna do. And we've now cleared that, payment for Shante. We can see here the student statement available to Shante detailing out her student charges, all of her payments as well as her courses. The branding here, of course, is entirely configurable, and you can build that out as you need to. Now that she's gone ahead and made that payment, we're gonna go and take a look at her academics hub and actually plan what her semesters are gonna look like here at AMU. In her academics hub, this is where she can see everything relating to her academic journey with the university. We've got her overview where we can include communications and video content to support that student experience alongside any, academic overview. So holds, we've cleared that out now. Also, any important contacts that she might wanna reach out to to support her experience, her registration appointment, which is currently open, and the current classes that she is taking. Shante also has visibility of her academic progress. She can see how she's tracking for her bachelor of economics and her economics major. And within Workday, what we're seeing on page here is a report. So Shante wants to know what are the courses that she need to complete and what are the requirements here that she needs to fulfill in order to complete, those courses. What we're seeing is a report, which allows you to drill down on the information that you're seeing. And within a few clicks, Chante can see the existing requirements that she still needs to fulfill that are in progress. Not only that, within Workday, we can also see the related actions, which will allow Shante to see in order to fulfill this diversity requirement, she needs to go ahead and actually complete two courses that align to this, diversity, tags that we can see here as well. So she doesn't need to whip out a student handbook, do a cross check, get a spreadsheet because that's what I used to do when I was back in uni and just tick up all the courses that I had done. Workday delivers it to her in the palm of her hand or on the desktop. Really simple ease of use. With that in mind, she's gonna come in and update her academic plan. So as an institution, we wanna ensure that students are coming in and completing their courses as soon as they can. And within the academic plan, Shante can go ahead and plan what the existing semesters look like for her experience at the university. You'll notice on the left hand side, we can see those remaining academic requirements that she still needs to fulfill. And leveraging drag and drop capability, I can pull this in to my 2026 semester one, go ahead and search for the course, and it will let me know that I'm eligible to enroll. However, if I do try to do something a little bit sneaky, and let's say I wanted to go ahead and complete the economics capstone course before I had actually completed all of my courses, it'll let me know that I'm not eligible to do so. And not only that, it will tell me why. So we've got eligibility rules built in here as well, letting us know that she needs to complete some courses, within the upper division that we can see. As part of the opening video, one of the students talked about saved schedules. So saved schedules is another way that you can plan what your academic experience would look like. This is really helpful from an experience where you are working part time, and you might need to set up separate options, to work with your student experience. So allowing students to create those safe schedules will go ahead and enroll from a safe schedule, but also seeing that for students who may need some additional support in terms of their plan, they can go ahead and request plan approval. So routing to an academic adviser for review. Speaking of enrolling, let's move over into the mobile experience, and I'll show you what that will look like. Hoping this is okay. Also, another seamless transition, which we love the live demonstrations. So Workday has a single mobile app across all of HCM, finance, and students. Single login for Shante, and you'll notice it's the same look and feel that we saw on the desktop. However, it's been aligned for the real estate that we have. Coming into my academics hub, I can go ahead and enroll from a saved schedule. And one of our students, actually called this functionality really amazing because being a student is stressful enough, and having to enroll is always a stressful experience because you're waiting for that enrollment window to open, and you wanna make sure that you get all of your classes. Here, I can directly enroll from my phone, select my preferred, save schedule, and go ahead and start that registration. Then I'm pretty much done. So students can do this on the fly. They don't need to be at their desk top waiting for that window, cross checking against all the different options that they have. This is a really great experience for your students, and I really wish I had this, when I was going through university as well. I'll show more of the Workday student experience later today on mobile. So if you are interested in seeing that, please come along. It'll be great. You'll get to experience life as a student, and I'll take you through more functionality. And we'll do we love prizes here at Workday, so we'll do, a little quiz, and I'll throw in some prizes as well. I can switch back to the slides. Just to summarize what we've seen, as Shanti, we short saw that student experience. She's got access to self-service capability for those tasks, updating her key information, making payments, updating academic plans. We saw the journey, so guiding students through that registration period alongside, enrolling through the mobile. So that wraps up our Shante experience and the students, and then I'll now move into the role of Brian. So yeah, that's alright. So as Brian, he is our director of enrollment services. And as you can see here, it's the same look and feel that we've been seeing for our student, Shante. We've got security kicking in here. You'll notice that the announcements are different to what we saw for Shante. And because Brian is also a team leader, we can see all of his important dates. So team birthdays, work anniversaries, public holidays, team time off, alongside his team highlights. Coming into his my tasks, that one stop shop for all actions that require input from Brian. You'll see here it's a whole plethora of not only HCM capabilities such as an absence request for Karen seeing when, other people in his team are taking time off. We can also see expense reports here that he needs to approve alongside student capabilities. So there's a new program of study that we're looking to offer at the institution that's come into Brian's inbox as well as making updates to grades. So it's that one stop shop for Brian. Doesn't need to move into a different system for HCM and finance. It's all available to him within his tasks. I highlighted our business processes and our business process framework. Sometimes it's a little bit challenging to align or understand why it's different within Workday, So I really wanted to show what a business process looks like within the platform. This is that business process that we we actually saw for Shanti, so that continuing student, registration onboarding. What we're seeing on the screen here, there's a couple of key items. But what you need to know is that it's showing who, so the student as the self, what do they need to do, what is the action item, and when they're actually completing it. So we can see leveraging conditional logic, we can trigger different items to kick off. So for Shante, if she hasn't declared her program as studying, for example, there'll be a hold applied to her account. We can see there's the academic policy document that she needs to go ahead and review alongside all those personal information updates and the to do item. What's great about this is that you don't need to know what the next step is in that business process. Workday will automatically push it to the next user for input. If you're more of a visual type learner, we also offer this in the visual view. So instead of using, say, a Visio, you've got the build out of all of those different steps as part of that business process available to you. Kate will be talking a little bit more about AI towards the end of the session, but I wanted to show some AI capability that currently exists within the platform. So Brian, being that director of enrollment services, he's also in charge of creating policy documents for students and staff. He can come in to documents for students and staff. He can come into his help articles, and you'll see help articles exist not only in the student space, but we see it also in HCM and finance. So thinking about all of those end users that exist within Workday, being able to push articles out to them. When we come in and create an article, we can leverage the gen generative AI capability and actually upload a document from our drive. Within a few clicks, you'll notice you can tailor this article based on the end user, whether it's a general summary, if it's for a manager or an employee, and we can go ahead and generate that article. Of course, we know that with AI, we wanna make sure there's a human in the loop, so we're not just pushing out articles willy nilly to anyone, anywhere within the platform. We can go ahead and set the settings for the article here, and you'll notice that Workday supports all these different languages, and this is really critical for your end users. Right? So in the institution, you may have lots of students where English is not their first language. So how are we gonna support that experience, for your students? We We can go ahead and select the category and get really granular in terms of who this article is for. And because we're holding all of this information within Workday, we can personalize the information to the end user. So what does this article look like if I'm a student? What does it look like if I'm a student admin or a manager? We can really support the end user, with the information that they need. When I'm ready, I can go ahead and publish that, which will then be available for Shanti to search. You will notice the translations function as well. So as I mentioned, we we're supporting a whole range of different languages that you can easily translate from within Workday. Of course, I'd advise for you to have someone that speaks German to actually fact check this. I can't do that, but we've got that, availability to you there as well, and you can go ahead and publish that once you're ready to go. The last place I'm gonna go is into the, enrollment management dashboard. So taking a step back and taking a look at the institution reporting and analytics as a whole, dashboards within Workday are entirely configurable, and we deliver dashboards to you out of the box, but you can also build your own. What we're seeing on the screen here is our planned versus actual enrollment trends. And so we're seeing for each of the course courses that we're offering at the institution, how are we tracking from a capacity perspective and cross check cross checking this information with those students who have planned to take this course. They've added it to their safe schedule or actually enrolled or wait listed. This is really great from a resourcing standpoint. Do we need to bring in additional tutors or academics to support the, enrollments that we have? And this is possible because your academic planning progress is all in a single location, and you can pull this together leveraging reports. I mentioned that it's a single platform, so I'm gonna put on my finance hat and talk a little bit about student revenue by academic rec academic period that we can see here as well. If I drill down via the, the numbers that we can see, thanks to our object data model, we can actually slice this data in a whole range of different ways. I'm gonna go ahead and slice this by program of study as a work tag. And, work tags within Workday allow you to assign different dimensionality to, the journal, and we can see we can even drill even further. So getting a breakdown of all of the different programs of study here and coming in and drilling this by student. And we'll notice that we saw Shante earlier also completing this bachelor of economics. And, oh, I must have selected love a good, live demo. Goes like the wrong button. Got a bit too excited there. Alright. So we're gonna go in and slice that by student as a work tag. And here for the bachelor of economics, we'll be able to see Shante. There we go. Shante, all of the revenue that she has, paid to the university, we can go and drill that down by a charge, student charge items, actually get really granular in terms of the actual operational journal. So I know our friends in finance will be very happy about that. You've got the additional work tags, which allow you to provide a bit more color to the transaction, We can easily drill down into Shante's worker profile here as well. Of course, we've got security kicking in here. Brian can see all of her student key information alongside her student financials. So any charges and payments that Shanta has made to the institution today. We also have the ability to push out communications to your students. So all of this is date and time stamped. All of the communications, leveraging templates can be pushed out to your students, and we can manage that experience and really guide your students through their journey at the university. Still got a bit of time. I will come back to my dashboard here. And if I put on my HCM hat, you'll notice there was that new program of study that we wanted to, deliver at the institution, I can go ahead and see my open faculty positions. So for the accounting department, I can drill in and take a look at the org chart and see if we actually have enough individuals who can support this new program of study that we're looking to push out at the institution. And I've got visibility of that professor of accounting requisition that's here. Drilling into that, we're then leaning over into HCM recruiting, and I've got visibility of how we're actually tracking for that role. So I don't need to reach out to someone in the recruiting team and actually see how that's going. I've got visibility, pending security that I can see that we've got a role being offered already. So I'm feeling confident that we can deliver that course, as needed. Coming back into the dashboard, as we mentioned, we really wanna support students through their experience here at the institution. You're able to pull together reports like this, so identifying any students that may be at risk of dropping out of the institution. Drilling down into those details, we can see all of their grades, so the final grades, alongside what course they took, who that student is, and we can be really proactive about assigning a careers adviser or academic adviser to support that experience as well. So lots of different ways to ensure that we're really supporting our students here at the institution. So I'll just move back into my slides, please. So to summarize what we saw from Brian's perspective, we saw the administration staff experience with Brian having that one stop shop to access HCM finance and student capability. We saw the ability to leverage AI to create knowledge articles to push out to the institution as well as keeping a pulse on the institution leveraging dashboards and analytics. We here at Workday are really invested in the student product. And as Kate mentioned, we deliver biannual releases, and this is a snapshot of what was delivered as part of the 2025, one release. And we are very intentional in terms of the personas that we support across this experience. You'll notice a few key ones. The student, we saw increased visibility of the degree requirements that I demonstrated. We saw, some SMS notifications as well as supporting duplicate management, for student onboarding as well. And, of course, AI. Right? So AI is something that we're seeing more and more of. And as Cade mentioned, it is really timely to be seeing this within the student product. And so Workday is continuing to build out our student AI capability. This is what is, in store in terms of road map, of course, product statement here. But we are looking at building out some more automation when it comes to transcripts, credit evaluation, credit rules. And so with that in mind, I will hand back over to Kate to talk about how we're seeing AI, come to fruition in higher ed industry. Thank you. So that's a special treat. If you stick with us all the way to the end of ninety minutes, we're actually gonna show you some really cool AI things, I think. So, hold on to your hat, and then we'll let you go eat lunch, and it'll be full circle. So let me just start a little bit before I get you into the fun part of what we have delivered and what we're planning to build next, and talk about why and how we're building AI specific to the needs of our higher education customers. One thing that I think is really interesting from a data and research perspective is that last year this time when I was talking with customers about AI, I was having very different conversations than I am today. And I think that this research really backs up the fact that the mind shift, even in higher education where we like to to move a little slower, has really shifted over the past year to the point where, the majority of higher education institution leaders are concerned that they're falling behind. Whereas, really, last year at this time, I feel like folks that I was talking with, they were a little bit, like, let's wait and see, let's learn more, this feels high risk. And so the mind shift has has changed and happened rapidly. I think also because in our personal lives ourselves, we've started to see the benefit of these tools, right, and are starting to understand how, AI, just like with what Linda was showing you, can really speed up things that are time consuming, that are monotonous. And so that's really where we've started from an AI perspective in, in Workday and in Workday Student. And there are really three major buckets where we both heard from customers but also believe ourselves that AI has a particular impact for higher education customers. One, from that standpoint of increased productivity. Additionally, from helping to surface insights. So not just giving you the data and the unified platform and everything that we talked about, but actually surfacing and creating automation around what you're seeing and understanding, and ultimately doing all of that in service to better outcomes for your students and better experiences for your staff. And I want to say, especially sort of sitting where I do with product teams and thinking about where and how and why we invest, that we genuinely believe that AI is going to help transform higher education. We are not building AI for the sake of building AI. We're not building AI for volume to say that we have lots of it. We're very thoughtful, and we're very meticulous about what we're building for our higher education customers. When our product teams are talking to to our customers to get feedback, we take it through a very tight process because we don't want to deliver anything that doesn't have value. That's useless to you, and it's useless to us. So as I show you how we're sort of evolving and delivering AI, I just really wanna double down on the fact that we're doing this in service of value for our customers and outcomes that we know that you're trying to achieve on campus. And we didn't have to start from scratch. That's the beauty of the Workday platform and the way that it's built. So we do already have many higher education customers who are leveraging, AI that has been released through, the HCM product as well as finance. Cornell University, for example, when they adopted SkillsCloud, they almost immediately saw a 37% improvement in internal mobility. They were really concerned about losing their top talent. And so with the adoption of Workday SkillsCloud, they were able to start retaining that top talent at a much higher rate. Another institution right in my backyard in Boston, Northeastern University, they leveraged AI from the Workday Financials product, and they saw a drastic reduction in the amount, of time that it took for their expenses to be captured as well as the amount of time, to review journal entries, within their accounting ledgers. So as we looked at what's the applicability for Workday student, where do we bring value to our customers on the academic side, we're able to take the core AI that's built into the platform from HCM and from finance and move much more quickly because we can adapt those models to student use cases. So some of the first things that we delivered very quickly that are live in production in our customer tenants today are good examples of that. So I'll give you a couple of them quickly here. This is one of my favorites, which is, if you're an administrator if if I'm here and I need to do an ad hoc, apply a charge to a student I'm moving fast. I got a lot of things to do. I'm coming in. I'm looking for my student. I need to get this charge in for, who is it, Alan. So I'm going through and I'm adding these different details to his, charge. And you can see here, I start typing, nine it's it's meant to be $90 for this charge, but I'm in a hurry and I've typed 900. Right? And so, normally, in the flow of work, what would happen here is that you just keep moving, you'd press the process button, and someone would have to deal with the downstream impact impact of the fact that I put 900 instead of 90. And so my student here, Alan, is gonna be mad, and my downstream finance people are gonna be mad. But instead, what we're seeing here is that I got stopped along the way, and I, am able to see that this is very much outside the normal realm of the student charge that I'm trying to apply, because I tried to do 900 instead of 90. So to me, that's a great example of what we consider sort of low hanging fruit in AI. Right? Where you're just along in the flow of work, helping people, not make mistakes, not be prone to human error. Another example of this, that comes from, something that originally came from HR that has perfect applicability in higher ed as well. So if I'm an administrator and I need to add an ad hoc ad hoc test result for a student. I might have, as I go through this, I go and I start to add this test result. And we probably, over the years, have a 100 different types of test results that we could add in for a student. Instead of making me look through those 100 or even search by name, what we're surfacing are prompt recommendations based on what I usually pick. Alright. So I'm almost always picking these three even though I had a 100 available to me. So this is just helping me move through things more quickly and more easily during the flow of, you know, what I would consider sort of manual tasks, mundane tasks. So these are some of the places that we started, and these, features have been available in the product for at least six months now. One of the ones that sort of starts to build in a more complex way that I I really love, is leveraging generative AI. So if you're a Workday customer and you're familiar with the calculation engine, you probably are aware that it is very powerful, and you can start to build really complex calculations with the calculation engine. That is both a blessing and a curse, as my grandma would say, which is because as you then come back to take a look at that calculation, as you're seeing here, it might be hard to remember all of the genius things that you had in mind as you were building that very complex calculation. And so what you're seeing here is that if you go back to those calculations, what we're doing here is we're surfacing in natural language what you built. So if you think about that, like, when you're writing an Excel formula, sometimes you look back at it and it makes perfect sense. And sometimes you're looking at that formula like, what on earth happened here? So this is this is, I think, a really good example of being able to help you remember, or if you're new to the job, get you started in natural language with something that can sometimes be quite complex. And this is also available today. Alright. So let's look to the future. And honestly, it's not even the very far out future. So coming in the fall, which we have in the hands of early adopters right now, is Workday Assistant, within the student context, within tasks for, the student product. And so the idea here is that with Workday Assistant, you have this side by side guide to help move you through whatever you're working on. So in this example, I'm changing a program of study. Linda talked to you about that, for a student. Maybe it's my first time doing it because I'm new to this role. Maybe I haven't done it in a while. I got back from vacation. And so I can just quickly come to the assistant and say, remind me how to change this program of study for a student. And it's walking me through exactly what I need to do to complete that process. So just making it so much easier and faster to, again, complete a relatively mundane process. So that's coming soon. And then the last thing that I'm really excited about, that is coming a little further out in the future, but I decided that since we're in a small group of friends, that you guys can be some of the first to see what we're working on that's a little bit further out. And that is the transfer credit agent. So this is something that I actually only recently, have been allowed to talk to folks about, so that's why you're on the bleeding edge of this. But we're really excited about this because, again, just to go back to why do we build things, this is something that we think really has the ability to transform work. So transfer credit processing can be highly manual. It's it's usually very, time intensive. And if you're an institution operating at scale, doing this for thousands of students at peak times of year really impacts the student experience because they're having to wait to get information back from you about how their courses will transfer, if they'll transfer. So across the board, it's cumbersome for administrators and it's a poor experience for students. And that's why we feel like, using Agintiq AI in this space is a real game changer for how work gets done. So I'm gonna show you a little prototype of what it's looking like. I will say that I have to do a little bit of a, a preface of what you're gonna see because whoever recorded the prototype for me did not take into account that I don't talk that fast. You know? I I'm from the South. We like to just, like, you know, say a little bit as we go. This demo goes way too fast, so I can't keep up with it. So before I show it to you, I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen, and then we'll take a look at it together, so I don't trip over my words. So you're gonna see two things when the agent comes up. The first thing is that the, PDF transcript that has come in from the student, we've already used OCR to populate Workday with that information. So we've already taken this stuff out of look at this document, type it into Workday. It's been prepopulated, but what you'll see is that there was an error because the transcript pulled over a course that we didn't have in the system. So the first thing the agent's gonna do is to show you that that, error that you got and to ask if it can fix it for you and to create that in the flow of work. So, again, if you think about the original assistant, this is the next level of that where you still have a human in the loop, but the process is actually happening in a very automated fashion from the agent who's anticipating what needs to happen. And then the second thing that you're gonna see is after that happens, we're then gonna apply the credit to the student. Right? So we've created the course. We understand what they're pulling in. We're gonna add that credit to them, show how it applies. And, again, we're gonna run into an error because we don't have a one to one match for that course equivalency. And the agent is going to recommend the equivalency for us, let the human in the loop say, yep. That's the right equivalency. Create the rule and the flow of the work, and off you go. So really exciting. It happens so fast that you just need to you just need to pay close attention. So here's everything that I was just saying, which is there's that PDF transcript, and here's the error that we ran into because that course was not already in the system. And so what you're seeing on the right hand side is how assistant has really transformed into an agent. And the agent is recommending what my next step would be there to create that course, and then as you see, it's moving really fast, and it's now applying the course credit to that student. And, again, I'm in the loop the whole time, so it's recommending a manual assignment of transfer credit. It's recommending the most likely course based on all the information that it has, and then it's letting me go ahead and say, yes. Please go ahead and execute that course equivalency onto the student. So, again, the human's in the loop the whole time, but the agent is taking control of the sort of monotonous work of finding the course equivalent, looking for it, adding it to the system. And I'm really just able to be here and click a couple buttons along the way to make sure it all looks good and get it done in twenty seconds. Alright. So that was my big as you can tell, I'm so excited. Good. Okay. I'm glad you're excited too. That's good to hear. So anyways, you're some of the first to know. Hopefully, it's fun. And that is a wrap on our session this morning. Thanks.
